Manager Financial Reporting & Taxation

About the role

AE Power – Alternative Energy is seeking an experienced Manager to lead financial reporting, taxation compliance, and financial control activities. The role supports the CFO in budgeting, forecasting and ensures accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Review general ledger transactions and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Oversee timely monthly and annual closing of accounts and preparation of financial reports in line with accounting standards.
• Maintain compliance with Pakistan taxation laws, prepare and submit tax filings to the Head Office.
• Conduct financial analysis and audits to identify discrepancies, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on reporting, audit and taxation matters.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CA Inter or ACCA preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting and taxation, with managerial or supervisory experience considered an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting and Accounting Principles.
• Sound understanding of Pakistan Taxation Laws and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
