Manager Network Security Architecture and Planning

About the role

Sky47 is seeking a seasoned Manager to lead Network Security Architecture and Planning. You will partner with the CISO to shape security strategy, ensure robust architecture across cloud and data‑centre environments, and guide technology teams on risk‑based decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the CISO to develop and maintain a security architecture aligned with business goals and best practices.
• Define baseline security architecture principles and embed them into technology design and project delivery.
• Oversee implementation and operation of security solutions such as XDR, SIEM, DDoS protection, NGFW, PAM and WAF.
• Ensure security and resilience of multitenant cloud environments and data‑centre infrastructures.
• Partner with IT and stakeholders to integrate security controls, achieve compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS and ISMS, and report risk mitigation actions.
• Monitor emerging threats, AI/ML security trends, and regulatory changes to keep the architecture up‑to‑date.
• Coordinate with third‑party vendors to manage risk and enforce security requirements.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of experience in information security leadership, preferably in technology or critical‑infrastructure sectors.
• Strong understanding of cloud‑native security, data‑centre protection, and AI/ML platform security.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related field; Master’s preferred.
