Manager Sales (Customs Clearance, Freight Forwarding, Import)

About the role

A sales management position in import customs clearance, freight forwarding, import and transport is open in Karachi. The role focuses on developing new business and maintaining client relationships while following company policies to optimise profits and minimise costs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in freight forwarding, customs clearance, transport and warehousing.
• Develop new business through daily market visits, and prepare sales proposals, quotations and presentations tailored to client needs.
• Build strong client relationships by understanding their logistics needs and offering suitable solutions.
• Ensure company policies are followed to optimise profits and minimise costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 5 to 6 years of sales experience, preferably in import customs clearance.
• Good knowledge of import customs clearance procedures and the overall import process.
• Own vehicle or conveyance for client visits and job-related travel.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
