Marketing Manager

About the role

The Marketing Manager will lead the marketing and commercial strategy to expand UPL’s product portfolio in the country, driving both top‑line and bottom‑line growth. The role oversees market research, product positioning, branding, advertising and promotional activities while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to align with sales objectives and customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing strategies for new and existing products.
• Define pricing strategies for new molecules and manage marketing plan productivity.
• Plan launch strategies for new products and drive market development initiatives.
• Maintain regular communication with farmers, dealers, distributors and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate new product development activities such as trials and demos in partnership with distributors and the product development team.
• Conduct market research to identify requirements for current and future products.
• Provide data analytics for new product development, market intelligence, portfolio strategy and capital‑expenditure planning.
• Coordinate with sales teams to ensure monthly and annual sales targets are met.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Extensive experience in marketing within the agriculture sector (approximately 15 years indicated).
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage large‑scale marketing projects.
• Strong understanding of product portfolio growth, brand revival and channel excellence.
