Mart Cashier – Full-time Retail Position

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Mart Cashier to join our retail team in Multan. This full-time, on-site position involves providing a smooth and courteous checkout experience for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and process cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
• Issue receipts, greet customers, and answer basic product or price inquiries.
• Handle returns and exchanges in line with store policies.
• Balance the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift and report any discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Coordinate with store staff for price checks, stock issues, and other assistance.
• Follow all safety, security, and confidentiality procedures.

Required profile

• Ability to handle cash, cards, and digital payments with basic numeracy.
• Strong customer-service attitude, clear communication and patience.
• Attention to detail and error-free transaction handling.
• Dependable, punctual and willing to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Capability to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; previous retail experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Commitment to a welcoming, inclusive and respectful workplace.

Required skills

• POS (Point of Sale) system operation.
• Basic computer proficiency.
