Mathematics Coordinator

About the role

Profyd, an online education support company based in Pakistan, is hiring a Mathematics Coordinator in Lahore to lead its maths teaching department. The role suits someone with a strong mathematics background who wants to move from teaching into academic coordination and team leadership, ensuring high-quality maths education for international students across several curricula. The position is full-time, onsite/hybrid, day shift (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM).

Key responsibilities

• Lead, schedule and coordinate the mathematics teaching team for online and onsite classes.
• Develop and standardize curriculum materials, lesson plans and assessments for UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand curricula.
• Observe classes regularly and give constructive feedback to math teachers.
• Monitor student academic performance and put in place improvement strategies.
• Onboard, train and mentor new mathematics teachers.
• Maintain academic records and produce periodic progress reports.
• Work with operations and management to keep the department running smoothly.
• Resolve escalations from students or parents about mathematics classes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Education or a related field.
• Prior teaching or academic coordination experience in mathematics.
• Ability to teach and coordinate across multiple levels (GCSE, O-Level, A-Level, etc.).
• Experience with online teaching platforms is a plus; familiarity with international math curricula is preferred.
