Mechanical CAD Designer – HVAC & Piping Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Mechanical CAD Designer to create and revise HVAC, piping, sheet‑metal and steel‑fitting drawings. The role supports project teams by delivering accurate AutoCAD and Revit models that meet engineering specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, modify and maintain detailed mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Develop HVAC layouts, ductwork, piping, sheet‑metal fabrication and steel‑fitting details.
• Interpret engineering designs, specifications and project requirements to produce precise technical drawings.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects and other stakeholders to ensure drawing accuracy and timely delivery.
• Review and revise drawings based on design changes and client feedback.
• Ensure all drawings comply with applicable engineering standards and company quality requirements.
• Maintain organized project documentation and drawing revisions.
• Assist the engineering team with design coordination and technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in mechanical drafting/design, preferably on HVAC and piping projects.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving abilities and good organizational skills.
