Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

Mode Mobility is developing Pakistan's first premium electric motorcycle line and is expanding its engineering team. The Mechanical Design Engineer will work on the next generation of the C‑Series, creating robust mechanical components and assemblies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical parts and assemblies using SolidWorks.
• Create detailed drawings, specify tolerances, and prepare manufacturing documentation.
• Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate strength, durability, and performance.
• Collaborate with R&D and production teams to optimise designs for manufacturability.
• Communicate design intent clearly with vendors, fabricators, and internal stakeholders.
• Support prototyping, testing, and iterative improvements.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement practical solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SolidWorks.
• Experience conducting FEA or other simulations.
• Familiarity with sheet‑metal, tube fabrication, and chassis design (preferred).
• Effective communicator, self‑starter, and able to manage multiple design tasks.
• Background in automotive, EV, or mobility sectors is a plus.
