Mechanical Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a global manufacturing leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to the design and optimisation of next‑generation mechanical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, analyse, and test mechanical components and assemblies to meet project specifications.
• Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and documentation using CAD tools.
• Perform structural, thermal and fluid‑dynamics simulations to validate concepts.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure cost‑effective production and quality control.
• Conduct failure analyses and recommend design improvements based on test results.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience with CAD software and simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials science and industry standards.

Required skills

• SolidWorks or AutoCAD (or comparable CAD platforms).
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA) capabilities.
• Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) expertise.
