Mechanical Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a leading global manufacturing company on a contract basis. This remote position involves designing, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and test mechanical components and systems to meet project specifications.
• Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and documentation using CAD software.
• Perform structural, thermal, and fluid‑dynamics simulations to validate designs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to achieve cost‑effective production and maintain quality control.
• Conduct failure analysis and recommend design improvements based on test results.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in mechanical design and analysis.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with international teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar.
• Experience using finite element analysis (FEA) techniques.
• Knowledge of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials science, and relevant industry standards.
