Mechanical Maintenance Technician – Manufacturing

About the role

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician at Mondelēz International you will apply deep technical mastery of process equipment to lead planning, development and implementation of planned maintenance in a continuous‑improvement manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with line leaders to achieve SQCDSM targets and ensure process stability.
• Participate in Daily Management System meetings at shift and line level.
• Own technology, process settings, and progressive‑maintenance KPIs for assigned lines.
• Manage the Repairs & Maintenance budget and develop preventive‑maintenance plans.
• Coach shift technicians to build their technical and maintenance capabilities.
• Collaborate with Asset & Reliability teams on system improvements and special maintenance tasks.
• Lead change‑management activities, spare‑part localization and breakdown analysis.
• Represent the site in regional and global technology forums.

Required profile

• Strong desire to advance a career in manufacturing maintenance.
• Advanced knowledge of Autonomous Maintenance (Step 4) and Progressive Maintenance (Step 3).
• Experience executing breakdown, planned and preventive maintenance on dedicated equipment.
• Ability to lead line‑level maintenance initiatives and coach next‑level owners.
• Proven capability to apply PDCA methodology to drive continuous improvement.
