Medical Billing Virtual Assistant

About the role

CodeCure AI is looking for a detail-oriented, reliable Virtual Assistant based in Islamabad to handle front-desk operations, insurance verification, patient communication and appointment scheduling. Experience with Therapy Notes is a strong plus. The ideal candidate is well organized, tech-savvy and able to manage these tasks independently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform insurance eligibility and benefits verification for new and existing patients
• Handle patient billing inquiries professionally and provide support
• Maintain updated records, billing logs and documentation
• Assist providers with billing-related administrative tasks
• Use Therapy Notes (if experienced) for scheduling, documentation and billing workflows
• Ensure HIPAA compliance in all work processes
• Collect patient payments and schedule appointments, including follow-ups

Required profile

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Virtual Assistant
• Familiarity with Therapy Notes or willingness to learn it quickly
• Strong understanding of insurance processes (PPO/Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare)
• Excellent written and verbal English
• High accuracy, attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet remote work environment
