About the role

Clintech Solutions partners with healthcare providers to turn clinical data into standardised codes, ensuring accurate patient records and safe clinical care. It is hiring a Medical Coder for an on-site office in Karachi, with a 1-month training period followed by a 3-month probation as Junior Coder.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and flag incomplete or unclear clinical data.
• File documents accurately using EMIS, SystmOne or Docman.
• Apply coding while keeping QOF and PCN DES targets in mind.
• Escalate documents for clinical review and contribute to audits and quality reviews.
• Maintain GDPR compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Attend team meetings, training sessions and SEAs, and support colleagues.

Required profile

• Understanding of medical terminology and coding standards (training provided).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to meet performance targets independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with NHS systems is an advantage.

What we offer

• Training salary of 30,000 and starting basic salary of 50,000; qualification allowance up to 20,000 for doctors, pharmacists, physiotherapists and BDS doctors.
