MEP Technician

About the role

International Trade Links is looking for a skilled MEP Technician in Lahore with a strong background in electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems. The ideal candidate has at least three years of experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install and maintain mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment, fixtures and distribution systems.
• Diagnose faults, perform repairs and carry out routine preventive maintenance.
• Read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, layouts and equipment manuals to complete assigned work.
• Test systems after installation or repair and report defects, risks or material requirements to the supervisor.
• Coordinate work with other trades and keep tools, work areas and maintenance records organised.
• Follow workplace safety requirements and use appropriate personal protective equipment.

Required profile

• Hands-on experience installing, maintaining and repairing MEP systems in buildings or facilities.
• Minimum of three years of experience in preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Ability to interpret basic technical drawings, wiring diagrams and equipment manuals.
• Competence in fault diagnosis, preventive maintenance and safe use of hand and power tools.
• Reliable teamwork, clear communication, attention to detail and accurate reporting of completed work and outstanding issues.

Required skills

• Electrical wiring, distribution boards, lighting and basic electrical testing.
• Plumbing pipes, fittings, fixtures, drainage and water supply components.
• Mechanical equipment such as pumps, fans, motors and air-conditioning components.
