About the role

Riphah International University is seeking a dedicated MIT Lecturer to join its department on a remote basis. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality lectures, developing up‑to‑date curriculum materials, and conducting research that aligns with the university’s academic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver engaging lectures that follow the department’s curriculum and university standards.
• Develop, review, and update course materials to reflect current trends and advances in the subject area.
• Conduct research activities in line with institutional objectives and contribute to scholarly publications.
• Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and practical applications, ensuring objective evaluation.
• Meet annual teaching and research targets set by the Head of Department.
• Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, and training sessions for continuous professional development.
• Provide academic advising and support to students to enhance their learning experience and career readiness.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and feedback for accreditation purposes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure coordinated curriculum delivery.

Required profile

• At least one year of post‑MS or MPhil experience in a relevant field.
• Strong subject‑matter expertise in the MIT discipline.
• Demonstrated ability in curriculum development and academic research.
• Ability to work independently without direct team management.
• Commitment to uphold university policies, assessment standards, and research ethics.
