Mortgage Operations Team Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Operations Team Lead to manage day‑to‑day operations of a US‑based home finance and insurance process. The role involves leading a team, ensuring compliance, and delivering high‑quality service to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of mortgage, home finance, and US home insurance processes.
• Lead, coach, and motivate the team to meet productivity, quality, and service‑level targets.
• Monitor performance, provide feedback, and implement improvement plans.
• Ensure accurate handling of processes according to SOPs and client requirements.
• Review loan, mortgage, and insurance documentation for compliance.
• Coordinate with internal teams and US stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Prepare and share performance reports with management.
• Identify process gaps and recommend efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Insurance or related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in US mortgage, home finance, or US home insurance operations.
• Previous team‑lead or supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of US mortgage and insurance documentation.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines, including US night shifts.
