NOC Engineer – 24×7 Network Operations Center

About the role

Mobiz is seeking a mid‑level NOC Engineer to join its 24×7 Network Operations Center. You will monitor, triage and resolve infrastructure incidents across cloud, network, server and endpoint environments for a portfolio of managed‑services clients. This role offers exposure to Microsoft Azure, enterprise firewalls and hybrid infrastructures, accelerating growth in networking, cloud operations and security.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor client infrastructure using RMM tools and Azure Monitor dashboards throughout assigned shifts.
• Acknowledge, categorize and prioritize alerts, applying runbook procedures for first‑response actions.
• Create detailed ServiceNow tickets for every actionable alert, documenting symptoms, affected systems, actions taken and status.
• Perform initial and intermediate triage to assess scope, impact and root‑cause direction before escalation.
• Execute routine health checks, backup verification, patch status reviews and capacity monitoring.
• Maintain awareness of open incidents, scheduled maintenance windows and active change records.
• Own P1 and P2 incidents from acknowledgement through resolution, coordinating with senior engineers and the NOC Manager.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience in network operations or similar monitoring roles.
• Strong technical judgment and ability to investigate incidents end‑to‑end.
• Excellent documentation skills and adherence to SLA windows.
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced, 24×7 environment.
