OPD Doctor (Outpatient Department)

About the role

The Shamim Majeed Foundation is seeking a qualified Doctor to join its Outpatient Department (OPD) in Rawalpindi. You will deliver compassionate, ethical, and patient‑focused medical care within a community‑oriented nonprofit setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients, identify health concerns, and provide appropriate treatment.
• Conduct consultations, take medical histories, perform physical examinations, and complete clinical assessments.
• Diagnose common outpatient conditions and develop treatment or referral plans.
• Offer counseling on prevention, medication use, follow‑up care, and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential patient records.
• Coordinate with healthcare staff to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Recognize urgent cases and arrange timely referrals or escalations.
• Participate in health awareness and community programs organized by the foundation.

Required profile

• Strong clinical assessment, diagnosis, and patient‑management abilities.
• Knowledge of general medicine, preventive care, and common outpatient conditions.
• Excellent communication and patient‑counseling skills.

• Ability to protect patient confidentiality and maintain accurate records.
