Operations Support Associate – Healthcare

About the role

The Operations Support Associate (Healthcare) serves as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and positive experience throughout their care journey. Working onsite at the Islamabad office, you will support patient registration, appointment scheduling, and insurance coordination while upholding high standards of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to appointment requests, phone calls, emails, and electronic messages with professionalism and empathy.
• Accurately register patients for appointments, procedures, and admissions, and maintain up‑to‑date demographic and insurance information.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments using the health record system.
• Verify insurance coverage, obtain pre‑authorizations, explain benefits, and process co‑pays, deductibles, and other financial responsibilities.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operational processes.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
• Prior experience in healthcare administration, patient registration, or customer service is strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment with attention to detail.
• Commitment to patient‑centered service and teamwork.
