Oracle Cloud Security Expert – Finance Systems

About the role

The Oracle Cloud Security Expert will lead the security operations for Finance Systems on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). You will ensure the environment remains secure, compliant, and resilient while supporting transformation projects across multiple geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain OCI network and security controls, including continuous monitoring of security dashboards and vulnerability reports.
• Plan, execute, and validate patching activities to remediate vulnerabilities and prevent recurrence of high‑risk findings.
• Develop, update, and follow security SOPs and operational runbooks for day‑to‑day activities.
• Coordinate remediation actions with platform, application, and operations teams and respond to security incidents, queries, and audit evidence requests.
• Review upcoming changes or deployments for security and operational impact, documenting actions, risks, and controls.
• Act as the long‑term owner of OCI security operations, keeping the environment audit‑ready and compliant at all times.
• Identify improvement opportunities, drive process standardisation, and manage ad‑hoc projects.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to achieve required outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant cloud or security certifications (e.g., OCI certifications, Cloud Security or Network Security) – preferred but not mandatory.
• Proven experience in cloud network and security operations, preferably with OCI.
• Ability to manage transformation projects, vendor relationships and change initiatives.
