People Services Officer

About the role

The People Services Officer will lead the onboarding and off‑boarding processes across the group, ensuring smooth transitions for new hires and leavers while supervising a small team of HR professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily team activities, delegate assignments and provide coaching and training as needed.
• Assign mentors/buddies to new hires and support their acclimation.
• Review and analyse monthly joiners and leavers reports and dashboards.
• Monitor turnover, ensure timely cancellation of access, asset hand‑over and EOS payouts.
• Manage onboarding and off‑boarding of confidential and sensitive personnel.
• Coordinate with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely uploads to the payroll system.
• Oversee a professional, smooth and timely exit process.
• Gather, create, track and maintain documentation, project plans and status reports.
• Contribute to process and content improvements, including digital transformation of onboarding/off‑boarding into the HRIS.
• Participate in daily huddles and maintain high team engagement during transformation periods.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 4‑6 years of experience as an HR Executive, HR Generalist or similar role.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Professional, positive attitude with strong organisational ability.
• Proven problem‑solving capabilities and ability to handle complex issues efficiently.
• Experience managing confidential information and handling stressful situations with courtesy.
