Pharmacy Manager – Licensed Pharmacist (Male)

About the role

The Pharmacy Manager will lead all pharmacy operations, ensuring safe and compliant dispensing of medicines while delivering excellent customer service. This senior position requires a licensed pharmacist to supervise staff, manage inventory, and oversee procurement.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily pharmacy activities and ensure compliance with DRAP regulations, pharmacy laws, and company SOPs.
• Accurately dispense prescriptions and counsel patients on dosage, usage, and side effects.
• Lead sales staff and billing officers, maintaining professional service standards.
• Manage storage conditions, monitor expiry dates, and conduct regular stock audits.
• Handle procurement, verify invoices, and maintain transparent purchase records with approved vendors.
• Protect company assets from misuse, theft, fraud, and overbilling.
• Maintain confidentiality of supplier rates, financial data, and customer information.
• Prepare inventory reports, sales records, and coordinate with suppliers and healthcare representatives.
• Address customer complaints and train pharmacy staff on pharmaceutical knowledge, ethics, and SOP compliance.

Required profile

• Valid Degree in Pharmacy (Pharm‑D or B‑Pharmacy) from a recognized institution.
• Active registration with the Pharmacy Council.
• Minimum five years of pharmacy management experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of DRAP regulations, controlled‑drug rules, and healthcare compliance.
• Proven experience in medicine procurement, inventory management, and supplier coordination.
• Leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
