PHP Full Stack Developer (WordPress & Shopify)

About the role

We are looking for a PHP Full Stack Developer with strong experience in WordPress and Shopify to join our Dubai‑based client’s team in Lahore. The role involves building, customizing and maintaining dynamic web applications and e‑commerce sites.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and support PHP/MySQL, Shopify API and WordPress based websites.
• Create custom WordPress themes, plugins and WooCommerce extensions.
• Implement responsive front‑end interfaces using Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript frameworks.
• Integrate third‑party services via REST, AJAX and JSON.
• Maintain code quality using version control tools (Git, Mercurial, CVS, SVN).
• Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and optimise performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional PHP development experience.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Johar Town, Lahore from 09:00 AM to 07:00 PM, five days a week.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and ability to manage small projects.

Required skills

• Core PHP, OOP, and functional programming.
• WordPress (custom theme, plugin, widget development) and WooCommerce architecture.
• Shopify platform and API integration.
• Front‑end technologies: Bootstrap, CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, jQuery, SASS.
• Database experience with MySQL and NoSQL databases.
• Version control systems: Git, Mercurial, CVS, SVN.
• AJAX, JSON, XML, REST API.
