Offshore Tech Lead - Analytics

About the role

mobileLIVE, an award‑winning tech company, is looking for an Offshore Tech Lead – Analytics to own the technical health of its analytics ecosystem. You will bridge digital analytics implementation, frontend engineering, data‑layer architecture and tag‑management across web, mobile and eCommerce platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and optimise custom JavaScript for browser‑based instrumentation, data‑layer manipulation and event orchestration.
• Lead the setup, maintenance and health of Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, Adobe Analytics and GA4 containers, including server‑side integrations (Conversion APIs, Tag Gateway).
• Design, standardise and govern reusable web and mobile data‑layer specifications and event schemas for sites, SPAs and native apps.
• Configure custom events in Quantum Metric or similar session‑replay tools while enforcing strict PII masking and encryption.
• Provide day‑to‑day technical leadership, code reviews and mentorship to analytics engineers, QA and frontend developers.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, privacy and legal teams to embed tracking, consent management and data‑governance into the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in digital analytics implementation, analytics engineering or frontend development focused on tracking.
• Strong eCommerce analytics background with hands‑on experience in checkout flow and conversion‑funnel tracking.
• Proven ability to design and govern enterprise‑scale data‑layer architectures for web and mobile.
• Expertise in troubleshooting complex telemetry using browser dev tools and tag‑manager debuggers.
• Practical experience with SQL and Python for data manipulation and advanced analytics workflows.
