Podcast Booker & Marketer (Remote)

About the role

We are building a high-quality, consistent podcast engine for AceCPAs and need a dedicated professional to manage guest booking, outreach, and distribution support. The role combines research, outreach, scheduling, and light production coordination to keep the show running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Source, research, and vet potential guests aligned with business owners, buyers, sellers, and dealmakers.
• Conduct end-to-end guest outreach: pitch, book, schedule, send prep notes, and follow up.
• Maintain a pipeline to ensure 2+ episodes per week with no gaps.
• Manage podcast publishing on platforms such as Megaphone: set up episodes, write titles, create show notes, and schedule releases.
• Build and manage a target list of external podcasts for guest appearances.
• Pitch Mubarak Shah as a guest on relevant podcasts and coordinate those bookings.
• Track guest pipeline, bookings, releases, and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience booking podcast guests or running PR-style outreach campaigns.
• Excellent written English with the ability to craft persuasive outreach messages.
• Highly organized, able to manage scheduling, follow-ups, and calendars across time zones.
• Strong research skills to identify relevant guests and podcast opportunities.
• Self-driven and reliable, capable of keeping a pipeline active without constant supervision.

Required skills

• Familiarity with podcast hosting platforms (Megaphone, Buzzsprout, Captivate).
• Experience with recording and interview tools (Riverside, Zoom).
• Use of CRM or tracking sheets for pipeline management.
• Scheduling tools such as Calendly.
• Email outreach and scheduling systems.
