Principal/Staff DevOps Consultant – Azure, AKS, Terraform (Morning Shift)

About the role

We are looking for a Principal/Staff DevOps Consultant to design, build and operate enterprise‑scale Azure environments. The role focuses on Azure infrastructure, Kubernetes (AKS) and automation using Terraform, ensuring high availability and security for mission‑critical workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Provision, administer and maintain Azure services across compute, storage, networking, databases and security.
• Monitor cloud health, perform incident management, root‑cause analysis and resolve production issues.
• Manage Azure Kubernetes Service clusters and support containerised applications.
• Automate infrastructure deployment with Terraform, Azure DevOps pipelines, PowerShell, Azure CLI and Azure APIs.
• Implement backup, site recovery, disaster‑recovery rehearsals and business‑continuity processes.
• Apply patch management, vulnerability remediation and improve cloud security posture.
• Track resource lifecycle – VM sizing, snapshots, de‑commissioning and end‑of‑life activities.
• Collaborate with architects and application teams to design scalable, secure solutions and maintain documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Extensive experience managing Azure cloud environments at enterprise scale.
• Strong background in Kubernetes (AKS) and container orchestration.
• Proven ability to automate infrastructure using Terraform and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with monitoring, incident response and cloud security best practices.
