Procurement Manager – Lahore

About the role

Our client, HC Trade and Engineering Private Limited, is seeking an Assistant Manager Procurement to lead the procurement function in Lahore. The role oversees the full procurement cycle, from vendor sourcing to contract administration, and drives cost‑saving initiatives while maintaining quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement processes, including sourcing, purchasing, and delivery coordination.
• Identify, evaluate, and select vendors based on price, quality and delivery capabilities.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms and commercial conditions to achieve cost‑reduction targets.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Prepare, review and administer procurement contracts ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Monitor market trends and recommend adjustments to procurement strategies.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and deliver timely solutions.
• Lead, mentor and motivate a procurement team of seven members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in corporate or industrial environments.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and communication abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
