Production Line Lead

About the role

Haleon is seeking a Production Line Lead to supervise manufacturing and packaging operations within an assigned value stream. You will manage a team of production officers, equipment operators, packers and support staff to ensure safe, compliant and efficient production that meets volume targets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities including material flow, line clearance, change‑overs, set‑up and start‑up across all workstations and equipment.
• Allocate and monitor resources (operators, officers, cleaners) to guarantee smooth, compliant manufacturing and packaging.
• Maintain area cleanliness, hygiene, SOP adherence and track KPIs through tiered accountability meetings.
• Conduct regular Gemba walks to coach staff and verify process conformance.
• Lead root‑cause analysis (RCA) for operational deviations, non‑conformances and incidents, ensuring robust documentation and corrective actions.
• Support site Data Integrity (DI) initiatives, act as DI point‑of‑contact and communicate DI updates to the team.
• Drive QMS/EHS gap analysis, quality alerts, periodic product reviews and implement improvement plans.
• Champion learning by coordinating value‑stream training and meeting training KPIs.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising production teams in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
• Strong knowledge of EHS and quality standards and ability to enforce compliance.
• Demonstrated capability to lead RCA, Gemba walks and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with a focus on safety and quality.
