Production Manager – Steel Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Production Manager to lead and optimise end‑to‑end manufacturing operations across our steel production lines. The role focuses on efficient production planning, achieving key performance indicators, and delivering quality products on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations and coordinate with Quality Control, Maintenance and Engineering teams.
• Develop and execute production plans to meet output targets and KPI goals.
• Ensure compliance with API, ISO, safety and environmental standards.
• Drive equipment reliability, preventive maintenance and continuous process improvement.
• Control raw‑material utilisation, inventory levels and overall production costs.
• Promote a strong safety culture and lead plant teams to achieve operational excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 10–15 years of experience in steel manufacturing, pipe production or heavy‑industrial operations.
• Proven track record in plant operations and production management.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, quality standards and cost control.
• Experience with API, ISO, HSE and environmental regulations.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
