Production Officer

About the role

GSK is looking for a Production Officer to supervise production activities at its manufacturing site in Pakistan. You will lead small teams and ensure safe, timely and high-quality operations, working closely with colleagues in planning, engineering, quality and EHS to solve problems and drive improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations to meet schedules and ensure on-time delivery.
• Coach and develop production technicians, including hands-on training on procedures and managing batch records.
• Maintain accurate production records, perform quality checks and support system postings such as SAP.
• Coordinate with engineering for preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and lead resolution of issues.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), site quality policies, data integrity and EHS requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement activities to boost efficiency, equipment reliability and product quality.

Required profile

• Degree in Pharm-D or an equivalent relevant qualification.
• 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, dispensing or packaging operations.
• Experience working within a GMP environment.
• Practical knowledge of production documentation and batch record management.

Required skills

• Familiarity with SAP or similar manufacturing systems.
• Data integrity, quality compliance and regulatory compliance awareness.
