Lead Blow Molding Operator

About the role

Hamdard Pakistan is looking for a Lead Blow Molding Operator in Karachi. The successful candidate will manage the entire blow molding process, including machine setup, monitoring and routine maintenance, and lead a small team while upholding safety and quality standards. The role also involves minimizing downtime by quickly resolving technical issues and keeping production records.

Key responsibilities

• Operate blow molding machines efficiently to produce high-quality plastic products.
• Set up machines according to production specifications and monitor their performance, making adjustments as needed.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues to keep production running smoothly.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate production records covering machine performance, output and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies in the production area.
• Lead, supervise and support a team member, giving guidance and training where needed.
• Work with quality control so that all products meet specifications.
• Propose improvements to the blow molding process to raise efficiency and quality.
• Assist with material handling and storage as necessary.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DAE), a Diploma in Plastic Technology, or a relevant technical certification.
• At least 7 to 8 years of hands-on experience in blow molding operations.
• Technical proficiency and leadership ability to guide and support a team member.
