Project Director

About the role

The Project Director will lead the planning, execution and delivery of large-scale development projects for DHA Karachi. Based on-site in Karachi, the role oversees the full project lifecycle from concept design through to completion, ensuring alignment with DHA’s strategic vision and community-focused objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage project feasibility studies, budgets, schedules and resource plans.
• Coordinate with internal departments, consultants, contractors and regulatory bodies to meet quality, safety and compliance standards.
• Monitor progress against milestones, resolve operational issues and manage contract variations.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership.
• Drive process improvements and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.

Required profile

• Proven end-to-end project leadership experience in complex infrastructure or real-estate developments.
• Strong planning, organizational and risk-mitigation capabilities.
• Technical knowledge of urban development, construction processes and infrastructure planning.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills for interaction with senior leadership, government agencies and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Project Management, Architecture or a related field.
