Project Engineer – Industrial Utilities Design

About the role

Haier is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the design and execution of major industrial utility systems. The role involves coordinating power, gas, water, and fire‑protection infrastructure while ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and coordinate design of power and energy, industrial gases, water, and fire‑protection systems.
• Ensure all engineering designs meet local regulations and international standards.
• Support preparation of RFQs, participate in bidding, and evaluate vendor proposals.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones; monitor resource allocation and progress.
• Control project costs continuously and implement budget‑control measures.
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality and HSE standards.
• Coordinate with site teams, PMC, contractors, consultants, and senior management.
• Integrate ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 requirements into daily activities.

Required profile

• BSc in Mechanical, Electrical or a related engineering discipline.
• 5‑6 years of hands‑on experience in industrial utilities design and project engineering.

Required skills

• Industrial utilities system design (power, gas, water, fire‑protection).
• Project planning, scheduling and cost estimation.
• Site inspection and quality control.
• Health, safety and environmental (HSE) compliance.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
