Project Manager - FTTH OSP

About the role

A permanent Project Manager - FTTH OSP is sought to lead end-to-end FTTH OSP deployment projects, from planning and survey through construction, fibre installation, testing, commissioning and acceptance. The role covers survey and design, ODN, ROW, OFC laying and jointing, testing and commissioning, GIS as-builts and acceptance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution and delivery of FTTH OSP projects within agreed scope, budget and timelines.
• Oversee OSP/ODN design, ROW/permit coordination and construction activities.
• Manage fibre deployment, civil works, splicing, testing and commissioning.
• Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, vendors and local authorities.
• Monitor progress, resources, costs, risks and quality.
• Ensure compliance with technical specifications, HSE and QA/QC requirements.
• Coordinate GIS/as-built documentation, PAT and PAC requirements.
• Prepare project progress reports and maintain stakeholder communication.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years' experience in project management within FTTH / OSP / fibre optic telecommunications.
• Proven experience in FTTH network deployment and construction management.
• Engineering degree in Telecom, Electrical/Electronics, Civil or a related discipline.
• Preferred: 10+ years of relevant FTTH/OSP experience, PMP / PRINCE2 or similar certification, and experience with large-scale or multi-city fibre projects.

• Fibre optics, OSP/ODN and telecom infrastructure deployment.
