Project Manager – Software Development

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead software development initiatives for shopdev in Lahore. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage client expectations, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and milestones in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules and delivery roadmaps.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, translating business needs into clear deliverables and providing regular status updates.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including developers, QA engineers, UI/UX designers, business analysts and DevOps.
• Manage projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies, facilitating ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups and retrospectives.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, manage change requests and ensure effective scope control.
• Ensure deliverables meet defined quality standards, coordinate testing and oversee project closure activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–6 years of project management experience, preferably within a software house or IT services company.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead multidisciplinary teams.
