Project Officer – Private Sector Development & Investments

About the role

The European Union Delegation in Islamabad seeks a Project Officer to support private sector development, investment promotion and economic growth initiatives. The position is based in Islamabad and reports to the Head of the Rural Development and Economic Growth section.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the implementation of ongoing projects related to economic growth, private sector development and investments.
• Assist in the formulation and advancement of new interventions in the private‑sector development field.
• Work closely with the Head of the Rural Development and Economic Growth section to ensure project alignment with EU strategic objectives.
• Adapt assigned functions to the evolving needs of the Delegation.

Required profile

• Flexibility to take on functions as required by the Delegation.
• Ability to work within a team of nine professionals and handle changing project priorities.
