PS Core Engineer – Ericsson Packet Core Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced PS Core Engineer with deep knowledge of Ericsson Packet Core solutions. The role involves maintaining, optimizing, and troubleshooting the Packet Switched (PS) Core and EPC network elements to ensure reliable mobile data services.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Ericsson Packet Core/EPC network elements such as MME, SGSN, GGSN, SGW, PGW, PCRF, and HSS.
• Monitor network performance, capacity utilization, and service quality.
• Troubleshoot network faults and service degradation issues.
• Perform network optimization and capacity planning activities.
• Support integration, migration, software upgrades, and network expansion projects.
• Analyze and improve network KPIs related to data services.
• Coordinate with vendors and cross‑functional teams for issue resolution.
• Prepare operational reports and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with operational standards and SLAs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in PS Core/EPC operations and support.
• Hands‑on experience with Ericsson Packet Core solutions.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Ericsson MME, SGSN, GGSN, SGW, PGW, PCRF, and HSS.
• Solid understanding of LTE/4G/5G Core architecture.
• Proficiency with GTP, Diameter, TCP/IP, routing, and IP networking.
• Experience in network troubleshooting, optimization, and performance management.
• Knowledge of implementation, migration, and upgrade activities.
