Public Safety Associate

About the role

The Public Safety Associate ensures a safe, secure, and orderly environment on campus by monitoring safety operations, responding to emergencies, and maintaining vigilance through surveillance and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a constant presence across designated areas, monitor CCTV and access control systems, and report suspicious activities.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, assist in evacuation drills, and coordinate with rescue services and law enforcement.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident records, and ensure accountability for equipment handling.
• Provide assistance to faculty, staff, students, and visitors, support events, VIP movements, and crowd management.
• Conduct regular patrolling, manage lost‑and‑found items, and enforce campus entry/exit, parking, and visitor protocols.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree preferred from an HEC‑recognised university.
• 1–3 years of relevant security or safety experience, preferably in an educational or corporate environment.
• High sense of integrity, confidentiality, and discipline.

Required skills

• Strong observation and reporting abilities.
• Knowledge of security systems such as CCTV and Access Control Systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
