Python Automation Engineer

About the role

Aiden Risk is building an AI‑native commercial insurance brokerage and needs a Python Automation Engineer to eliminate repetitive manual work. You will design and implement scalable automation solutions that support the company’s AI‑driven platforms and help the business scale rapidly.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation workflows using Python.
• Build reusable automation libraries and utilities to improve engineering efficiency.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks for business processes and system integrations.
• Integrate automation solutions with REST APIs, databases, and third‑party platforms.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise automation pipelines for performance and reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested Python code following engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, AI, and product teams to automate operational workflows.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes through automation.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional experience in Python development or automation engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience building automation solutions using Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools.
• Experience working with REST APIs and integrating third‑party services.
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development practices.
• Experience using testing frameworks such as pytest or unittest.
• Familiarity with data processing libraries such as Pandas or NumPy.
• Strong analytical thinking, debugging, and optimisation skills.
