Quality Associate – Food Production

About the role

The Quality Associate will support Nestlé’s Quality Management System at the Sheikhupura plant, ensuring food safety, compliance and continuous improvement. This contract position works closely with production, supply chain and quality teams to drive zero defects and waste.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Nestlé Quality Management System at plant level.
• Promote a culture of quality awareness and zero‑defect mindset among all personnel.
• Manage release of raw and packaging materials, investigate and resolve non‑conformities.
• Conduct supplier audits, report findings and drive corrective actions.
• Oversee food safety, hygiene practices and pest‑management programs.
• Run internal audits, assess system performance and recommend improvements.
• Monitor key quality parameters using statistical process control and lead root‑cause analyses.
• Deliver quality awareness training for staff and contractors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in quality management within food or manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and lead laboratory or quality staff.
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations and WHO guidelines.
