Quality Assurance & Control Engineer (Mechanical)

About the role

MEP Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a full‑time, on‑site Quality Assurance & Control Engineer to support high‑rise mechanical, electrical and plumbing projects in Karachi. The role focuses on ensuring that all construction activities meet the required standards and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect work and installations to verify compliance with project standards and safety regulations.
• Maintain quality records, including Inspection Requests (IR) and Material Inspection Requests (MIR).
• Guide the site team to follow established quality procedures.
• Conduct welding inspections and ensure welding meets benchmark criteria.
• Physically inspect electrical installations such as conduit, cable trays, and terminations.
• Monitor construction activities for adherence to drawings, specifications, and procedures.
• Prepare and submit test reports and interim payment applications (IPA).
• Create and maintain detailed quality control documentation, including handover and test records.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 to 6 years of experience in QA/QC for mechanical works on high‑rise buildings.
