Quality Assurance & Control Engineer – MEP (Mechanical)

About the role

MEP Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a full‑time Quality Assurance & Quality Control Engineer to oversee mechanical works on high‑rise building projects in Karachi. The role involves ensuring that all mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations meet the required standards and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site inspections of mechanical works, welding, electrical conduits, cable trays and terminations according to project standards.
• Maintain and update quality records, including Inspection Requests (IR), Material Inspection Requests (MIR) and test reports.
• Guide the construction team to follow quality procedures and safety regulations.
• Review project drawings, specifications and procedures to verify compliance.
• Prepare interim payment applications and handover documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–6 years of experience in QA/QC for MEP projects, preferably on high‑rise buildings.
• Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Required skills

• QA/QC expertise in mechanical works.
• Inspection of welding and electrical installations.
• Preparation of IRs, MIRs and test reports.
• Knowledge of construction standards and safety regulations.
