Quality Engineers

About the role

The Quality Engineer will ensure effective in‑process quality control on injection‑molding production lines, guaranteeing that products meet approved specifications, standards and work instructions. The role involves close collaboration with Production, Maintenance and R&D to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Perform in‑process quality inspections on injection‑molding lines and ensure compliance with specifications, standards and work instructions.
• Lead first‑piece approvals, sample locking and trial evaluations to identify and resolve issues before mass production.
• Monitor rejection trends, conduct defect analysis and track line quality performance; initiate corrective and preventive actions with Production and Maintenance.
• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance and R&D to resolve process, mold, machine and product‑related quality problems.
• Maintain quality documentation, audit readiness, daily inspection reports, patrol inspection records and KPI monitoring.
• Support root‑cause analysis and implement CAPA for line defects and recurring quality issues.
• Ensure proper use, handling and calibration of measuring and inspection instruments on the production floor.
• Provide required quality records and evidence for internal, customer and ISO audits.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of experience in quality engineering or a similar role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Polymer or Industrial Engineering.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 management systems.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and drive continuous improvement.
