Quantity Surveyor – CCTV, ICT & ELV Projects

About the role

XAD Technologies seeks a detail‑oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation, BOQ preparation, tendering and commercial control for CCTV, ICT, IT infrastructure and ELV projects across Pakistan. The role blends technical knowledge of low‑current systems with strong analytical and negotiation abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take‑offs, BOQs, cost estimates and tender documents for CCTV, ICT, IT and ELV projects.
• Analyse drawings, specifications and scopes of work to ensure accurate cost forecasting.
• Develop project budgets, commercial proposals and cost plans in coordination with engineering, procurement and project teams.
• Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations, monitor project costs and maintain budget control throughout execution.
• Prepare variation orders, claims and final account reports; support tender submissions and contract negotiations.
• Conduct site visits for measurements, quantity verification and project assessment.
• Maintain comprehensive records of costs, procurement, invoices and commercial documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Electrical/Electronic/Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in quantity surveying for CCTV, ICT, IT infrastructure or ELV projects.
• Strong understanding of local market rates, vendors and material costing in Pakistan.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
