Quantity Surveyor / Civil Engineer – Cost Estimation Expert

About the role

Rehman Construction & Interiors Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Civil Engineer to lead cost estimation and project control for civil and interior works in Lahore. The successful candidate will prepare accurate Bills of Quantities, manage budgets, and coordinate closely with project teams to ensure timely, on‑budget delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for interior and renovation projects.
• Analyze design drawings and specifications to estimate material quantities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of construction market rates for civil and interior works.
• Develop comprehensive cost estimates and budgets aligned with client expectations.
• Monitor project expenditures and implement cost‑control measures.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and contractors to resolve cost‑related issues.
• Lead a team of five members, delegating tasks and providing technical guidance.
• Support tender preparation, including BOQ and contract conditions.
• Review supplier and subcontractor quotations for competitiveness and compliance.
• Conduct site visits to verify quantities, assess quality, and ensure adherence to specifications.
• Assist in negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Civil Engineer.
• Proven expertise in cost estimation and construction project management.
• Ability to lead and mentor a small team.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
