Regional HR Business Partner (AVP)

About the role

The National Bank of Pakistan is seeking a Regional HR Business Partner (AVP) to support its operations across several locations, including Quetta, Gwadar, Sheikhupura and Sibi. Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you will help drive HR initiatives that align with the bank’s strategic objectives and ensure consistent HR service delivery throughout the region.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all HR activities in the assigned region and assist the Senior HRBP in implementing HR strategies.
• Recommend promotions, performance appraisals, job objectives, counseling, mentoring and disciplinary actions for senior approval.
• Oversee planning and execution of Continuous Development Programs (COPs) to up‑skill staff.
• Support Regional Head and executives on transfers, postings, job rotations, performance management and training.
• Supervise processing and sanctioning of staff benefits such as loans, medical reimbursements, TA/DA and other allowances.
• Manage end‑service benefit cases and ensure timely disbursement of dues.
• Handle staff complaints, disciplinary and litigation cases, coordinating with head office and regional offices for resolution.

Required profile

• Minimum graduation (Bachelors) from a recognized university; HR or Public Administration degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of work experience, with a minimum of 2 years in HR, preferably in the financial sector.
• Strong understanding of HR practices, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, and effective stakeholder management.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
