Regulatory Compliance Officer – Corporate Governance

About the role

The Regulatory Compliance Officer will ensure that the organization adheres to all relevant corporate laws, regulations, and internal policies. Working closely with auditors and regulatory bodies, the role safeguards the company’s compliance posture and supports corporate governance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors, risk teams, and regulatory authorities.
• Stay current on evolving regulations affecting corporate governance and the share registrar sector.
• Prepare and file corporate returns on behalf of listed and unlisted client companies.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of corporate laws and regulatory frameworks.
• Familiarity with corporate governance best practices.
• Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Effective time‑management to handle multiple deadlines and reporting requirements.
