Remote Golang Developer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Golang Developer to join a global leader in IT services on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while building high‑performance backend services in a micro‑services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend services using Go.
• Optimize existing services for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code following industry best practices.
• Debug and resolve production issues with minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to define technical requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional Go (Golang) development experience.
• Proven experience building micro‑services and RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including query optimization.
