Remote Golang Developer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Golang Developer to join a global leader in software development on a contract basis. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while building high‑performance backend services for a distributed system.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend services using Go.
• Optimize existing services for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code following industry best practices.
• Debug and resolve production issues with minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define technical requirements.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with Go (Golang).
• Experience working with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and query optimization.
