Remote Mechanical Engineer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a global manufacturing leader on a contract basis. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while developing and optimizing mechanical systems that meet industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and test mechanical components and systems to satisfy project requirements.
• Create technical drawings, schematics, and documentation using CAD software.
• Perform structural, thermal, and fluid dynamics simulations to validate designs.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure cost‑effective production and quality control.
• Conduct failure analysis and recommend design improvements based on test results.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience with CAD tools and simulation software.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and regulatory requirements.

Required skills

• SolidWorks, AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software.
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
• Structural, thermal and fluid dynamics simulation.
• Technical drawing and documentation.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials science and industry standards.
